The IMPG has maintained its level of excellence in the other undergraduate courses in which it participates, namely Medicine, Pharmaceutical, Dentistry, Nursing, Nutrition and Biology. It offers the Microbiology and Immunology course biannually and the theoretical-practical teaching retains its quality.
This approach reaffirms the vocation of IMPG to qualify young professionals so they are prepared to meet the increasing demands of the job market.
The content of the subjects offered in these courses is focused on the areas related to the graduation courses of the students, covering subjects such as structure, physiology, nutrition, microbial genetics, the immune response of the organism as well as their implications, the participation of bacteria and viruses in infectious processes in the human body and their diagnoses.
The courses have a 180 hour workload, distributed between practical and theoretical classes. However, the subjects for the Medical and Pharmaceutical Courses have workloads of 240 hours and 165 hours, respectively. Professors from the Departments of General Microbiology, Immunology, Medical Microbiology and Virology participate in all these subjects.
